ABOUT US

The Musicians

Family harmony is said to be the sweetest, and in that respect ODÉ doesn't disappoint. Lead male vocalist Donald Rudd, pastor of Quitman Baptist Church in Quitman, LA has always had a passion for music (and the louder the better, more often than not!), and that passion shows through his songwriting and intense vocals.

Robin Barnett, sister to Bro. Rudd's wife Glenda, carries the lead female vocals in the band and also writes original material that the band performs from time to time.

Guitarist Moses Rudd, Bro. Rudd's oldest son brings that Southern rock and soulful sound that is exemplary of ODÉ's style. On piano and keyboards and background vocals is Bro. Rudd's middle daughter, Mary. She also serves as pianist for the Louisiana Tech Concert Choir, and her fervor for music is unmatched, whether playing Beethoven or Big Daddy Weave. Sharing the responsibility of background vocals, keyboard and synthesizer are Mandy Rudd, youngest of the Rudd girls.

Keeping ODÉ in rhythm is Max Rudd, Bro. Rudd's youngest son. Only 15 years old Max  has proven to be a very sound drummer that loves to play.

Newest member of ODE' is bassist Leverle Donahue, who is a seasoned musician who has come along side of ODE to help fulfill God's purpose.

Our Purpose

The purpose of ODÉ is to point others to Jesus through our music.  All the members have accepted Christ as their Savior and are committed to using their talents for His glory and praise.    The very meaning of the Greek word ODÉ (pronounced oh-day) is "religious musical composition," and it is used to describe the song in Revelation 15:3-4, the song of Moses, the song of the Lamb

“great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God Almighty. Just and true are Your ways, O King of the nations. Who will not fear You, Lord, and glorify Your Name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous deeds have been revealed”

Our Sound

In some ways the members of Christian band ODÉ can't recall a time when they weren't making music together. The band, whose sounds could be described as Casting Crowns meets Lynyrd Skynyrd, has more than a musical connection -- they're bound by familial ties.

ODE' is committed to bring the sound of the truth.   Whether we are rocking at a festival, youth gathering or leading churches in praise and worship at revivals or crusades the sound of the gospel of Jesus will be heard.
